I woke up in the middle of the night last night and suddenly realised how Bitcoin = time. The mining of the 10 minute block is like the ticking of linear time. Always calibrated to be exactly 10 minutes, programmed to continue relentlessly, just like linear time. The penny finally dropped

Interesting article about human nature and how fiat was used in financial crises. If only the humans didn’t create the circumstances needed to use this elastic money in the first place

So far my two take aways from watching this are: 1. If Bitocin is time and energy, in contrast, fiat has no intrinsic value because it has no boarders (infinite supply) and expends no energy to create. Yes we know this but it’s now SCIENCE! 2. It will either be Quantum or Bitcoin. We can’t coherently have both because quantum, with its infinite possibilities, is incongruent with the binary nature of Bitcoin. 🤷‍♀️
