Technical proficiency might be a factor, but if he knows how to log in to the square back end and you know where to direct him it could take less than five minutes. From there you might have to show the employees how to select Bitcoin as a payment option, but that's easy as well.

I got a local vendor set up to accept Bitcoin on their square terminal today. It's an easy process. If you see a square terminal it never hurts to ask if you can speak with the owner about activating Bitcoin payments.

Yeah there's no reverse gear on this thing, but it's never too late to learn how to use Linux and harden security 🤙

I understand the aversion to cities. Thailand is fantastic though in general. There's also an app I've heard of called plebpay(I think) which allows any vendor that has a QR to accept Bitcoin payments. They don't know you're paying in Bitcoin because it uses a network of buyers who pay for the goods or services and then you pay them in Bitcoin. All no kyc. It's a clever solution. I'd love to see more apps like that around the world.

Hahaha we are on a similar page with the exception of oil. I am having a hard time imagining it staying stable with all this chaos going on. If the shipping lanes reopen and stay open I'd agree completely. It's hard to tell what will happen in the next hour let alone the next week at this point, but I suppose since half the world wants that lane open it will open.
