Our previous house was in one township but the road was in another. A few years ago that other township tried to collect 20 years of back taxes. It took 5 months of fighting with them b4 they backed off. 2 weeks ago the township our house was in came after us for 20 years of taxes on our business along with penalties and interest. Township tax is small percentage but it was still >100k. Back then it was an S Corp. So profit was in our personal income and taxes already paid. Greedy bastards.

It's domination of the South China Sea, at the expense of Viet Nam, Malaysa Indonesia and the phillippines. It's constant provocations toward Taiwan and to a lesser extent, Japan and the Phllippines. It's Belt and Road initiative, which seems innocous on the surface but it executed in a highly predatory mannor, like unto colonization.
