STRC works well (sized appropriately of course) in an income-generating portfolio along with volatility-harvesting instruments. It works as a stabilizer. It’s a decent bond alternative. PFFA has STRC and all the other MSTR preferreds. One just needs to understand the role it plays and what is for.
