I know that "all we did" was more of rhetoric than a statement of fact, but the war accomplished far more than that.
And if we are being consequentialists like that, then it will take years if not decades to judge whether this war was worth it. And you need to account for externalities too, such as the downstream effect on the terrorism they fund, Russia and China, etc.
