no, we really can't there isn't anything for ordinary individuals to cut back on after 50+ years of cutting back that would make a difference, that's why it's such a problem if gov'ts choose to burn up oil by waging war, if billionaires are allowed private jets & yachts, if AIs & cloud services burn up the energy of entire small countries...there's NOTHING we can give up to offset it, not even huge #s of people giving up having kids & cars helped, our use is a rounding error
