How do you get apps on your Linux machine? Whats the experience like - amazing, just works, full of nails on chalkboard?

I primarily use apt or flatpack. And unfortunately I do have to use some appimages. Like other people have said, getting apps on your Linux machine is kind of a clusterfuck. And each way of bundling a package has its own ups and downs. For me, though, in general, it just kind of works. There is the occasional problem where something I'm trying to install doesn't have the right dependency, but that seems to be rare in rarer these days. That's for my daily driver. servers are a whole other can of worms 😅
