Bro what. Christ himself gave papal authority to Peter and all of the apostles recognized this. Christ is the Godhead of the church, and the Pope is his Vicar, meaning representative. The Pope is not Christ, and has no divinity, he is only man, he does however represent him through and only through the authority and permission of Christ. All authority and salvation comes from Christ. How is this not Christian? This is supported in scripture, tradition, and early church history.

Jesus did not confer papal authority on Peter. That is a made-up inference drawn for politcal reasons. The status wasn't even formally declared by Rome until 1870 and is garbage. Peter was an apostle who maybe founded the church in Rome but was lesser in so many ways to Paul who did far more to teach the Romans about Christ.
