As my heart is moved to desire fellowship with my fellow Christian, and especially my church family, I find myself valuing the things of the #Bitcoin community less and less. The people here are just as fallen as the people on the outside. However: a good, just money is a powerful force that might be used to glorify God and subject nations to His discipline. That's what keeps me here. But the strange desire to "scroll #Nostr" persists even as I left #X. Perhaps it's a phantom urge. I pray it will fade, that I will be free of this aspect of my hideous, sinful nature. #ToChristAlone

Sound money has always been a moral issue. Every time central banks print, it's a hidden tax on people who can't protect themselves. That's not abstract — it's who gets hurt first when prices rise and wages don't. "Just money" is the right framing.

A lot more religious people in the Monero community. Some "big" names include Xenu, AlaskaAnon and Monero Matteo, the latter two are Orthodox. Monero is simply a more hardcore project that attracts a certain group who are willing to go all the way for p2p digital cash. The closest thing we have to Christian money. Bitcoin is normie tier now and as such you get normie takes and normie morality pervasive in the culture.
