I laughed hard twice today and once was when @6c535d95…944424bf told McGlone to fuck himself and left the broadcast.

I missed that, what caused such a reaction?

McGlone was interrupting him after saying the Bloomberg line he says every week that Bitcoin is just one of a million competitors of finite supply and that it’s going to 10k, etc. etc., and Larry called him stupid and then when Larry was trying to tell him he’s stupid he was interrupting him over and over again so he just said, fuck you im done with you and peaced out. I enjoyed it immensely a little unprofessional but Mike was being a dick regardless.

I get tired of Mike repeating the same bs infinite supply, but I think the whole thing happened because when Mike is off work, his internet always seems to lag. It caused him to delay when responding and seemed like interruption.

It might have been an interesting coversation handled better. Would have loved to hear Larry discuss why the million competitor theory is wrong.

Well the real issue is mike had said that every week for like a year now and everyone is sick of hearing it, it’s been addressed 1,000 times. I almost cant listen to the Monday Macro which I usually enjoy because of McGlone repeating this fallacious talking point every time he opens his mouth. Even if he was right (he’s not) its not adding anything.

I think Larry's statement was along the lines of "show me the evidence" - to which Mike simply interjected "ETFs". It's not unusual for the regulars to make such brief interjections. Larry didn't hear him clearly, though - likely because of the delay on Mike's side - and asked "what's that?", and it fell apart from there... at least that's my take on what happened. I certainly don't agree with Mike's "infinite supply" BS... and, I'm not sure I buy that he actually believes it himself. However, either way, I do think he provides a useful proxy on that show for what "smart money" is thinking about bitcoin (i.e. they still have no idea yet what bitcoin really is).

... o yeah, there was some of that earlier, too - but in the opposited direction. Mike had scolded Larry a bit for interrupting just a few minutes earlier - which I think likely had Larry on a short fuse when he felt Mike was then interrupting him.

I don't listen to him so I haven't heard it.
