Duplication of efforts is called redundancy in nature. And the rule in nature is to maximize redundancy. If you maximize redundancy, you maximize population survival. The less redundant you make a system, like I said before, the easier it becomes to exploit.

💭 Maybe so, Jay. But I also believe that a highly resilient system, one that doesn't rely on constant resources from other areas, would give rise to stronger ecosystems, more diverse species, and potentially, a healthier planet.
