When I first heard that there was a martial art with no attacks, and it used the attacker's energy "against" them, I was highly intrigued.
My freshman year, I saw that classes were available on campus, and it ended up being from one of the best sensei's ever. I still carry many lessons I learned from him. Later, I worked for Aikido Today Magazine for a summer. During that time, I had the great opportunity to take a class from one of Morihei Ueshiba's (the founder) students, Mitsugi Saotome. He was such a pleasure to learn from!
