I listened to an episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast yesterday and I don’t get the appeal. He’s clearly getting the large majority of his news from Twitter. And because of that he’s a victim of the Twitter hive mind that thinks they are ahead of the mainstream and believe they have access to inside information. He said 10 ridiculous things in 10 minutes. Like any armchair expert. One episode pretty much confirmed what I already thought about him - good talker that often doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
