Last night I was woken up in a shout. It was not the first time. I thought it was my father in distress, but actually it was not his voice, but yet the voice of a man, shouting my name loudly. I woke up immediately and got out of bed. Everything was quiet... What do you think this might mean? #IWonder

I wake up to my name being called sometimes too. But of course, no one is there when I regain consciousness. I wonder sometimes too.

Was there some reason you needed to be awake?

I wonder if dreams exist to keep the dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin flowing.

I can only speak for myself and I don't know.

I think their are energies who wish to communicate this way. I believe the shouting comes from trying softer tones without reaction from you. Finally, out of frustration, the energy/spirit shouts. This gets your attention. Unfortunately, it also wakes you up. The key is to listen to voice before its shouting. 😅

Maybe your serotonin levels were low. Serotonin is the social hierarchy drug.

I understand your input... But why some people cannot produce it?

Just thinking out loud and trying to come to a conclusion with you. Some people cannot produce the amount of serotonin or oxytocin or dopamine to function. I don't think anyone knows why. Your idea is great. I think of dreams as trips to other time lines. Or even other realms.
